    Description

    Offered is this large nylon or plastic comb with a silverplate Art Deco-design top handle made by Towle. The company has been in business since the 1880s so I'm not sure how old the piece is but was found with other vintage and antique silverplate items. This is an unusual find; at the time of original listing I could not find another Towle silverplate comb for sale on eBay.
    The comb is approx. 7 1/2" long and about 1 3/4" wide. It is in very good condition overall. The plating looks like it is entirely intact. All of the comb's teeth are present but some are bent. There is a slight gap between the silverplate top handle and the toothed portion on each end, as shown.
