    Description

    Brodhead Garrett Power Supply Model P246. This is a variac that also has stationary voltage taps. AC only outputs. plus 18VDC or 36VDC Outputs.
    Nice solid unit. 0-120VAC output. Curious design: you select either a 5AMP or 10AMP output. The black receptacle is the 10AMP and the white mysteriously is only rated to 3.5AMP. The yellow banana jacks output is 22.5VAC at the 10AMP switch setting and 45VAC at the 5AMP setting.
    The red/black DC banana jacks are 18VDC at 10AMP setting or 36VDC at 5AMP setting.
    Power control is via the keylock switch which is a great option if you need to place the unit in a Safe condition or limit access.
    Very heavy unit.
    14.25" from handle to handle width, 7.5" front to back (including knob depth) and 7.75" bottom to top. 30" power cord.
