    Description

    Up for sale is a small Vintage Castor Cruet Conndiment Set with Metal Stand and 4 Bottles in the American Shield pattern. Stands about 9" high. Could be a child's set? There is a mark base of the metal stand Pat. May 22, 72. That could make it about 149 years old. Nice condition. The metal stand itself is in pretty good shape without any breaks in the metal. There is one small spot on one of the balls connecting the bottle holding rings that is not there. Very small area and I almost missed it when going over everything for any defects. The bottles are in great shape and all are marked with the American Shield pattern. Two have the original glass stoppers (5" high) and one has a salt shaker top (4 7/8" high)  and one has a hinged lid for mustard or other condiment (4 5/8" high). Some childrens collectors of Cruet sets collect this one since it is smaller than the typical standard set but slightly larger than the smaller childrens sets. A great addition to any collection.
