It has heating and refrigeration cooling with integral defrost system. It has a stated temp range of 18C to 29C. The manual says it has a factory compressor cut off at 1C, but I’ve had it down to -8C max and -5C steady at around 20C ambient. It also goes up to 35C no problem. Probably higher, I didn’t try. Works perfectly.
Set any set point to 0.1 C, it ramps quickly, holds +/-0.2C to set point by spec. It does have an HVAC manual valve on the back, so if you want it to ramp down more slowly or save power for some reason you can turn it down. It also has an automatic defrost feature that will run every 12 hours if you are running near 0C, with a switch on the back for that. Very nice.
