    Description of item...
    Here we have a beautiful early model quality silverplate 4-piece egg-shaped EGG WARMER (model #1902) by RICHARD RICHARDSON (RR) of Sheffield England.  It measures approx. 8" high x 4-1/4" in mid diameter. It is in excellent maintained (displayed/unused) condition with no dings or dents, no damage noted. It has not been polished since acquired, no need, and is being offered in "as found" condition. This egg warmer has three claw feet, decorative legs with top rosettes, ball finial on the dome cover, a removable bottom fuel cup* with circular indent space (also for a small sterno or votive candle) and a removable 4-egg holder lift tray. The bottom is marked, "1902 ~ (Anchor stamp) ~ A1 ~ WARRANTED HARD SOLDERED ~ RR ~ 6 3 0 " plus "R14/3" and "259973" hand-scratched on the sides. Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1930's.  This item weighs approx. 1-1/4 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased. [I currently have other similar silverplated Egg Warmers on auction.]
