"DIAL-O-MATIC"
45 RPM RECORD PLAYER/PHONOGRAPH AND RADIO
READY FOR RESTORATION.
IN "AS-FOUND", ORIGINAL CONDITION.
I found this and other Ristaucrat machines at an estate sale. I think it is an excellent candidate for restoration. It's too nice to be used for salvage parts.  It looks like it was well cared for in its day.
The outside wooden case looks quite good for its age and should look beautiful with a little restoration
.
The speaker grill cloth inside is very clean and the gold threads are very shiny.
The unit displays well.
The metal speaker grill is loose from the cabinet, and can be easily fastened with a few tiny nails in the existing nail holes.
The original ID plate is still in place on the back (see photos).
I have not opened it up, nor have I even plugged it in. It is untested. I have read that these Ristaucrat machines should not be turned on, or plugged in until they have been examined first.
Sorry if the shipping seems high, but this machine is HEAVY.
