For your consideration is this stunning antique signed Mappin Brothers egg coddler with original burner. This outstanding piece measures approx. 8 1/4" high x 4 1/4" in diameter and depicts a silver egg with a swan nob. The bottom is marked Mappin Brothers of Cheapside, Regent Street and Sheffield. Such a beautiful piece from a time when everyday items exhibited such artistry. This piece is in excellent antique condition with very minor plating wear and one of the 3 screws attaching the legs to the bottom plate being a bit different than the other 2.
