    Description

    Up for sale a late 19th century or early 20th century silverplate salt and pepper oval stand with carrying handle resting on 4 bun feet by R Wallace of Wallingford, CT.  The salt and pepper shakers have an attractive hexagonal design with silverplate caps.  The silverplate stand measures 5.5" H x 4.75" W x 2" D and the glass salt and pepper shakers with the silverplate caps measure 3.5" H x 1.5" the base diameter.  The silverplate stand is marked "R Wallace 0512 (the pattern number) silver soldered".  Good antique condition with normal signs of age, wear and use.  Scuffing where the glass salt and pepper shakers sit on the silverplate stand and a few spots of wear on the floor of the stand
