Description

The Labnet Model I-5611-D Digital Incubator is ideal for applications requiring strict temperature control as well as general incubations. It features a broad temperature range and a digital microprocessor, the temperature is easily set using a membrane keypad. Heating can be set to gravity connection, or for more rapid temperature change with better uniformity, mechanical convection with an interior fan is provided.
Unit comes with two (2) adjustable stainless steel shelves with an “sealed” interior glass door that remains shut when the exterior door is opened
without disrupting the temperature environment. The outer door is solid and insulated. It is also heated to help in maintaining the chamber temperature. The heated door also prevents condensation from forming on the inner glass viewing door.
An interior light is provided for illumination and turns on when the outer door is opened to allow you to view the interior of the incubator without the need to open the glass door and disturb the contents.
There is also an interior “convenience” electrical power outlet provided to power small appliances, such as shakers or other instrumentation.
In the event of a controller failure, a safety thermostat protects the incubator & its contents. The control electronics are located away and outside of the controlled chamber.
