The
Thermomixer R Eppendorf
provides labs with a multi-function tool that speeds up the workflow with heating, cooling, and shaking combined. This intuitive shaking dry bath has an upfront digital display from which users can choose their temperature between 13°C below room temperature up to 99°C with an accuracy of 20°C to 45°C, ±0.5°C; below ambient and above 45 °C, ±2°C. Heating ramps up at around 5°C per minute. The digital controls of this heating shaker also automatically recognize the interchangeable block being used and displays the parameters needed. Speeds can be adjusted easily from a gentle 300 to a vigorous 1500 rpm, with a short mix function for quick vortexing. The mixing can also be set to intermittent for enzyme or DNA hybridization applications.  All parameters are shown on the digital display including set temperature and actual temperature. For frequently used protocols, users have two available program slots.
