English Silver Plate/Wood Biscuit Jar Barrel Form 6” High.
This English biscuit jar has a ceramic interior and silver plate rings around the wooden barrel. The handle and the lid are silver plate. It weighs approximately 2 1/2 lbs. The bottom ring is loose as there are two nails missing and also possibly due to shrinkage of the wood. There is a shield emblem on the face which is not monogrammed. See photos.
