    Description

    This Powerstat 3PF13 Variable Autotransformer (Input: 120VAC, 1Ph, 50/60Hz; Output: 0-140VAC, 2.8KVA, 20A) looks to be in good cosmetic condition, showing some signs of wear.
    The output voltage is ratedd to 140VAC, but I tested it with my digital multimeter (not included), and it was only adjustable to 118VAC, as shown.
    We have a couple more of these that are adjustable to 140VAC, but they appear to be hooked up differently [Input Line (black) wire to terminal #2, and Neutral (white) wire to #1, and Output wires to #4 and #5] than this one, which does not have terminals installed for #2 and #5, but has the
    Input Line (black) wire connected to terminal #1, and Neutral (white) wire to #4, and the Output wires connected to #3 and #4.
    This is the extent of my testing of this autotransformer, and it is being sold as-is.
