Bill Wyman Personally Owned Rolling Stones “Stone Age” Decca Catalog from 1971.Bill Wyman is famous for being a founding member of The Rolling Stones and is a truly iconic bass player with decades of touring and recording with one of the most iconic rock bands of all time. But, he also was an incredible collector of Rolling Stones memorabilia over the course of the bands career. Many of the items he collected over the decades we kept in what he calls his “Rolling Stones Archive” and some of these items he even displayed to the public in his Rolling Stones Museum/British Dining Establishment “Sticky Fingers” in London, which he owned and operated for 32 years.
This item comes directly from Bill Wyman’s personal collection and was displayed in Sticky Fingers as well.
This item is professionally matted and framed.
Black and gold matte and black frame.
Very good condition, some light signs of wear from age, but overall looks really good.
The catalog has not been examined out of the frame, but appears to be in really great shape, especially for an item that’s over fifty years old.
Frame measures 11 1/4” x 13 3/4”
Display very well.
Frame is wired to hang.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
That this item comes directly from legendary Rolling Stones bass player Bill Wyman is amazing, but that he also displayed it in his truly impressive collection at Sticky Fingers is really unique. This is a piece that he clearly felt helped to represent the Stones and their impressive career.
Iconic image from a golden era of the band, this album was a compilation and found its way into millions of music fans album collections. It’s incredible how many great albums the Stones made as the sixties turned into the seventies and this compilation album is a classic.
