Bernard Rice's Sons Inc Silver Plated Apollo Cocktail Shaker 1924

Description

This is an American, hand beaten, silver-plated brass cocktail shaker from the 1920s.
Overall it is a tall, slender design with a tapered body and a classical, squared-off handle.
The spout has an internal strainer and threaded cap with cork.
The top has it's original cork bung, and engraved on its retaining screw are the words "Pat'D May 13 1924".
The plating is worn in several places on the body and the top, revealing the brass on the high points.
This contrasts with the silver plating in the hollows and results in a nice appearance.
