I am quite certain this is silver plated, but I can't say for sure as I don't know how to tell. Lol it's the most beautiful trinket jewelry box I have ever seen in person. It's 5.5" long x 3:5" wide x 3.5" tall on its feet. I'll try to describe it but I'm certain it won't come close to how beautiful it is. On the bottom, there is an embossed swirl crest-like sign. Circulation circular and star like. It's feet are 3/4" long and are in the shape of a cursive C. The base is covered with a detailed double Rose design along with an intriquet swirl pattern covering the entire base. It's hinged. Red velvet interior in excellent condition. The lid has the double Rose in the middle. Then a row around them of swirls, then a row around that of tiny roses-one after another. Then a row of crests on the corners with the swirl and rose pattern together around. The bottom of the lid then has a cut metal edge in the same swirl pattern. It is in great condition. Shows some wear at the hinge, lid and legs. But it's, for the most part, in great condition. Thanks for looking
