    Description

    Fancy Antique Simpson Hall Miller Silver Plate Beverage Coffee Server Lion Handle.
    This highly designed and well made beverage server measures 13.5” to the top of the lid finial and has a base 7 1/4” in diameter. It is beautifully detailed with fanciful designs as borders and a floral and leaf etching to the body. The handle has a lion head at the top. The base has a screw lid which when opened allows escape of liquid through the hole. It is marked on the base as shown in the pictures.  There is very slight indenting to the top rim which does not detract from the look. There is no wear to the silver plating or other problems. Probably dates to 1870-1880 time period.
