    Description

    Antique English silverplate toast rack/letter rack shaped like an early car, complete with steering wheel and front lamp.
    This unusual piece is in EXCELLENT condition! A few dings around the edge of the headlight but that just adds character ;)
    Sheffield silverplate marked EPNS. Made by the Henry Wilkinson Company, which operated until 1892 according to my research.
    Antique dealers put the date of manufacture at 1890 (yes, there were cars at that time!).
    The wheels all move easily. Rack measures 2 3/4 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches long.
