    Description

    This is a lovely Victorian era PICKLE CASTOR made by E.G. Webster & Bro. - New York, circa 1890's.  The 12.25" tall frame is footed with fancy side pieces and an openwork header - lots of wonderful aesthetic period details in the design.  The Cranberry art glass Jar/insert has tapered sides and vertical ribs.  It has hand painted enamel leaves in shades of gold & brown, purple berries and orange vines - on the front & back of the jar.
