    Description

    Antique Meriden Silverplate Castor/Cruet Set Victorian 6 Etched Bottles, 2- salt & pepper  3 cruets with stoppers, and 1 jar with spoon.  Anesthetic style decoration dates from the late 1800's and has a twisted grapevine stem as the center handle matching the grape leaves that circle the base. The pieces share a similar etched pattern, but as they were etched by hand, they have slight variations in design. The set measures approximately 13" tall and 8" in diameter.  One stopper has a small  chip at the very tip, see last photo. But the others are fine. The spoon, while not part of the original set, is added,  the marks suggest that it is electroplated. This is an antique and in very good condition for its age.  Unusual in the the base is low to the table but elegant nonetheless.  Shipping by USPS Mail services or alternate shipping services.
