Aluminum Heat Block, for 6mm test tubes, PCR tubes

Description

Solid aluminum construction ensures maximum heat transfer between the heater base and tube contents. This block is the standard size accepted by innumerable dry heating block units (LWH: 9.5 x 7.6 x 5.1 cm; 3 3/4 x 3 x 2"). Wells (20 in a 4 x 5 array) are approximately 8 mm in diameter, appropriate for 6 mm test tubes, small PCR style tubes, or possibly small vials. The 21st well accommodates a 1/4” diameter thermometer.
