Description

Beautiful set of 4 vintage Delft Plates depicts various Waterfront scenes with Boats, people, houses in Holland or Belgium with a paneled border showing 3 Dutch Farm and Sailboats, alternating with stylized Florals. Beautiful Cobalt blue on a faint green background. Back has the Boch Fr Delfts mark. Inside rim is pinched for hanging. These are old transferware plates, not often seen, from circa 1930-50s. Note the placement of border scenes are different on two of them. Some plates have a black and gold foil shield label, marked: Golden Crown E&R Belgium.
Size: 8 1/2". Weigh 4 lbs.
Condition: Excellent, without damage or repairs and no glaze crazing or utensil marks. No discoloration.
