    Description

    DESCRIPTION: Early 1920's , large advertising flyer-literature for the MASTERTONE floor model PHONOGRAPH---printed with reddish brown tones for the machine illustrations. Made in Columbus, OH--this was sold through the mail. Flyer mentions--PLAYS ALL RECORDS. It had a swivel arm to play both vertical and lateral cut records.
    This sold for .50---underselling its competitors which are also pictured.
    Small photo show cabinet makers ---manufacturing plant interiors---and crating for shipment.
    An "off brand" phonograph that appears to have been well made, but at a lower selling price.
    Flyer is large--almost poster size, with folds from mailing. Totally open, it measures 18" x 25".
    CONDITION: Very good--with a few small splits starting at folds. Light handling wear. Original folds from being mailed.
